Annette Woods is a Professor in the School of Early Childhood and Inclusive Education in the Faculty of Education, QUT. She researches and teaches in the fields of Social Justice, Literacies, Pedagogy, Curriculum and Assessment and School Reform. Her recent research investigates learning to write in the early years of school, the implications of bringing literacy and sustainability together in kindergarten contexts, how cultural identity and well being are brought together by young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in secondary school contexts, and imagination as a curriculum concept.
