Anton van Wyk

I hold a PhD in economics from the North-West University and graduated in 2022. My PhD thesis was on the topic of: "Investigating the application of public interest considerations in South African merger cases". I am currently employed full-time in the School of Economic Sciences at the North-West University, Potchefstroom campus. I lecture micro- and macroeconomics on first and second year level as well as competition policy for the honours in economics students.
