Anya Free

Anya Free is a scholar of Russian and Soviet history. Her areas of expertise are the historical narratives of the Second World War; the Siege of Leningrad and its social and political aftermath; politics of history in the Soviet Union and the FSU countries, especially Russia and Ukraine; Human Rights and the Holocaust. She is also an experienced K-12 history curriculum and assessment developer, who is passionate about equality in education.
