Dr Arinola Adefila has worked in Higher Education for almost two decades. Arinola believes education is a human right, and that educational opportunities should be available to all from cradle to grave. Arinola's research focuses on methods to enhance the transformative power of education by examining how suitable learning environments, facilitators, and resources can support diverse groups of learners. Dr Adefila's research currently examines how learning transforms individuals and societies and simultaneously, exploring how education policy and learning environments should be designed and structured to ensure learning is transformative.

Arinola has over 20 years research and consultancy experience in Africa and Europe. She has developed invaluable experience in research, evaluation, risk investigation, monitoring, and community/transdisciplinary education. She has also gained comprehensive knowledge through her training at doctoral, legal, and executive Business Administration levels across five countries, as well as strategic and managerial competencies through her career in academia, consultancy, and the voluntary sector. Arinola is a trained teacher who believes in continuous lifelong learning, and the power of education to support adaptability, curiosity, innovation, and civic collaboration. Arinola is committed to enhancing design thinking and inclusive environments where everyone can succeed.
