Ashleigh is a PhD Candidate and Teaching Fellow at Melbourne Law School. Ashleigh researches in public law, and has a particular interest in animal law and environmental law. Her doctoral research concerns the legal status of animals in natural disasters. Ashleigh has experience as a lawyer, having previously worked at an environmental regulator and in commercial law. Ashleigh teaches in comparative law, and has been a guest lecturer in animal law and disaster law.
