Lecturer in Power Engineering, Edith Cowan University

Asma Aziz a lecturer and course coordinator in Power Engineering in the School of Engineering at Edith Cowan University. Her knowledge and expertise are drawn primarily from the discipline of Electrical Engineering. She received the PhD degree in Engineering from the Deakin University, Australia. Her research vision is dedicated to the aspects of the modern, smart and sustainable power system, which comprises suitable modelling of the system, new players to support sustainability and reliability of the electrical network. She is driven by a passion for fostering excellence in teaching, conducting impactful research, collaborating with industry partners, and actively contributing to the community. She has served as mentor for CSIRO's Innovate to Grow program for
SMEs in 2022-2023.
