Audrey Berquand

PhD candidate in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, University of Strathclyde

Can all the data and lessons learned harvested online, collected from previous current and future studies, be reused and enhanced with computational intelligence methods to advance current concurrent engineering design processes and decision making at the early phases of space missions design?

The output of my PhD should provide a few answers to the above research question. This project involves the development of a Design Engineering Assistant (DEA) for the Early Phases of Space Mission Design in the frame of concurrent engineering sessions. This PhD is in cooperation with the European Space Agency, RHEA Systems B.V. and Airbus in the frame of a Networking/Partnering Initiative (NPI).
