Austin C. Doctor

Assistant Professor of Political Science, University of Nebraska Omaha

Dr. Austin Doctor is an assistant professor of political science at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a member of the executive committee of the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education (NCITE) Center, a Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence. He also serves as a non-resident fellow with the Modern War Institute at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Austin's work focuses on the causes and consequences of terrorism and political violence, armed conflict, and political instability. In recent and ongoing projects, he investigates topics relating to militant leadership, insurgent operations and tactics, foreign fighters, and emerging technologies.
