Lecturer in Criminology, The Open University

Dr Avi Boukli joined The Open University in February 2016, as a Lecturer in Criminology. They previously taught at Teesside University, at Birkbeck University of London and at the London School of Economics. In previous years, Avi studied both in Greece and the UK, where they completed an MSc in Criminology and a PhD in Law at the London School of Economics. Their research is concerned with social harm and social justice and with some broader questions to do with the interface between structural inequalities, crime, gender, sexuality, and zemia.
