Axel G. Rossberg

Reader in Theoretical Ecology, Queen Mary University of London

Dr. Rossberg is a theoretical ecologist interested in biodiversity and the laws governing how species coexist, sketched in his monograph "Food Webs and Biodiversity: Foundations, Models, Data". Having studied theoretical physics at the Universities of Würzburg, Texas at Austin, and Bayreuth, he is now developing simple but powerful descriptions of complex ecosystems for use in management and decision making. He has worked as national and international policy advisor and is co-founder and chair of the International Initiative for Theoretical Ecology.
