Az (Ashley A.) Klymiuk is a Cree Métis and Slavic nonbinary, neurodivergent first-generation scholar. They are an assistant professor at the University of Manitoba, where they study fossil plants alongside plant-fungal interactions in contemporary wetlands to better contextualize fungi in the fossil record.
