Associate Professor, University of Canberra

Ben is a teaching and research economist. His research applies economic theory to real-world policy questions, mostly in the areas of unfair dismissal laws, judicial decision-making and radio spectrum policy. He also has a research interest in community resilience, social and human capital, poverty and inequality, and behavioral economics. Prior to joining academia he worked for 5 years as statistical expert for the European Commission.
