Benjamin Okorie Ajah

Dr. Benjamin Okorie Ajah (popularly called Dr. Ajah) is a lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Criminology and Sociology of Deviance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. This is after obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc) Degree in Criminology from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka; a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the Faculty of Law, Enugu State University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree from the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki.
Dr. Ajah had stint research experiences with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Pathfinder International, and Save the Children International. Dr. Ajah has equally published over 55 innovative articles in reputable and impact factor indexed journals and book chapters. Also, Dr. Ajah has held several positions within and outside the university. The positions include, Secretary Research and Publication Committee of the School of General Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Chairman Transport Committee of the School of General Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Secretary Okpanku Development Union, Enugu Branch and etcetera.
