Senior Lecturer in Philosophy, University of St Andrews

Benjamin Sachs is a lecturer in philosophy at the University of St. Andrews. He has worked on issues in distributive justice, health care justice, coercion, normative ethics, environmental ethics, and the ethics of research on human subjects. He is currently interested in animal ethics and in addition is writing a book arguing in favor of contractarianism.
