PhD Candidate in Creative Writing, University of Liverpool

I am a writer and creative practitioner. My doctoral research is funded by the John Lennon Memorial Scholarship and is a creative-critical study of climate change fiction. The creative component of my PhD is a clifi short story collection. I am particularly interested in fiction that resits the dystopian and post-apocalyptic modes that have been dominant.

My book ROOTS: THE ECO-JOURNAL, was published in 2018 by the Green Guild, and I won the Liverpool Guild award for the ‘Biggest Impact on the City of Liverpool’ for my green-creative writing workshops in 2019.
