Dr. Bhrugu Yagnik completed his doctoral research in the field of Shigella vaccine development. He then joined Prof. Amara’s laboratory at Emory University, working in the area of HIV/SIV vaccines and cure strategies. His research evaluates immunogenicity and protection against SIV elicited by these vaccines and cure strategies in adult as well as neonatal rhesus macaques.
