Billy Hare

Billy is a Professor of Construction Management, covering construction management and health and safety topics. He also represents the university on the Scottish Building Health & Safety Group Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) Health and Safety Advisory Group and is a Chartered Construction Manager.

He graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with first class honours in Construction Management. After a few years experience in contracting he was appointed to a full‐time research position, undertaking work on several HSE funded research projects with Iain Cameron and completed his PhD "Integrating H&S with construction planning through a best practice Gateway model".
