Professor of Applied Social Science, Durham University

Professor Bob Hudson has had a career in teaching, consultancy, research and publishing spanning 35 years. As well as occupying a range of increasingly senior positions in academic life, he has also served as an elected member of one local authority, and as a co-opted member of an additional two authorities.

Before joining Durham's School of Applied Social Sciences in 2004, he was Honorary Professor of Partnership Studies at the University of Birmingham and prior to that he was Senior and subsequently Principal Research Fellow at the Nuffield Institute for Health at the University of Leeds.
