Booi Kam is a professor in RMIT University's School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain, College of Business and Law. His current research interests are in areas of supply chain relationships, strategic business operations, digital supply chains, and product returns policy.

Booi has been a recipient of numerous major research awards, including two Emerald Literati Network Awards. He co-authored two books published by Edward Elgar Publishing: Consumer Logistics (2018) and Configured by Consumption (2022).

Booi has led projects funded by the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, national and state governments in Asia, and multinational corporations. He is regularly invited by universities in China, England, France, Indonesia, Korea, and Taiwan to give public lectures and teach into their degree programs.
