Breanna Wright

Dr Wright completed her PhD in psychology and epidemiology at Monash University and her undergraduate and honours studies in psychology at the University of Melbourne. Breanna’s research interests focus primarily on understanding behavioural drivers in a range of different contexts, from reporting animal disease to healthy dining choices, social inclusion and health behaviours.

Breanna has investigated the motivators and barriers to specific behaviours; for example, speaking up about your healthcare or doctors seeking a second opinion. Breanna has extensive experience identifying high-quality evidence to answer research questions and facilitating focus groups and interviews with target audiences. This evidence can then be used to advise organisations on how to apply these insights to policy and practice.

Breanna is a regular speaker on the conference circuit. She has moderated Behavioural Insights workshops at Australia Internet Governance Forum conferences and shared knowledge in Community of Practices forums. She has also participated in strategy workshops with the Victorian Government on addressing important social issues, including family violence.
