Brett Branco

I am a marine scientist that studies the dynamics of estuaries and coasts in urbanized centers like New York City.

I am the Executive Director of the Science and Resilience Institute at Jamaica Bay (SRIJB), hosted by Brooklyn College, and Associate Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the CUNY Graduate Center. I am currently on leave from my professorial position at Brooklyn College while serving as Director of the SRIJB.
