Bridget O. Menyeh

Research Associate, Loughborough University

Bridget Menyeh is an energy and international development professional with expertise and research interests in energy access, renewable energy, climate finance and discrete choice modelling. Bridget currently works on the UKAid funded Modern Energy Cooking Services (MECS) Programme which seeks to change the narrative on clean cooking in developing countries. Bridget completed her PhD in Energy Economics at the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP), University of Dundee, Scotland. During her PhD period, she was involved in alternative finance research working with the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, the University of Cambridge and on the CrowdFundRes Horizon 2020 project, funded by the European Union. Before her PhD, she worked as an Energy Consultant for SNV Netherlands Development Organisation in Accra, Ghana on various projects including clean cookstoves, climate innovation, REDD+ as well as other alternative livelihood improvement initiatives.
