Briohny Kennedy is a PhD candidate at the Health Law and Ageing Research Unit at Monash University’s School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. She draws on over 10 years’ experience in public health research and community development work. Her research experience includes both quantitative and qualitative methods, including randomised controlled trials, surveys, interviews and systematic reviews, in topics ranging from nutrition and physical activity promotion to fatal injury prevention. Briohny’s Phd topic is ‘Abuse-related deaths in community-dwelling older Australians’.
