Brittany Pousett CP(C), MSc is, a PhD student in Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of British Columbia and the Director of Clinical Research at Barber Prosthetics Clinic. She has a Masters in Science in Rehabilitation from McMaster University, a Bachelors of Science in Honours Biophysics from the University of British Columbia and she graduated from the Prosthetics and Orthotics Program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. She is passionate about bridging the gap between research and clinical practice in the field of rehabilitation. Her research focuses on the experiences of individuals with limb loss and how their prosthetic treatment, physical activity, community participation and prosthesis use affect their daily lives and well-being.
