Bruno De Oliveira

Bruno is Highly Commended to the Emerald Literati Awards academic of non-white Latinx background, published poet, speaker and educator. Bruno is a module leader at Solent University. His work is aimed at participation, challenging frames of power and understanding of poverty and wellbeing. His work is shaped by Critical Community Psychology and draws on creative research methods, visual arts, and activism as ways to challenge marginalisation. His published research is on mental health and participatory action research. He is the chair of the organising committee for the British Psychological Society Community Psychology Festival.
