Caitlin Hughes is a criminologist and drug policy researcher. She is Associate Professor, Matthew Flinders Fellow, at the Centre for Crime Policy and Research, Flinders University, Visiting Academic at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, UNSW and Vice President of the International Society for the Study of Drug Policy. Her prime focus is expanding national and international research into the roles and impacts of drug laws and drug law enforcement and working with policy makers to increase research translation and build more effective drug policies. She is on the editorial board for the International Journal of Drug Policy and Journal of Illicit Economies and Development.
