My research interests surround the development and maintenance of eating disorders. My PhD aimed to better understand the nature of association between anxiety disorders and anorexia nervosa. I used a range of methods and data to address this question, aiming to triangulate findings across multiple studies.

My current focus is on understanding the neurobiological factors that contribute to anorexia nervosa. Again, a range of methods including brain imaging will be used to address research questions.

In carrying out my research I take a particular interest in utilising study designs and methods that minimise the risk of bias. I hope that this can help to protect against making false conclusions.
