Carla Chan Unger

Research Associate, RMIT University

Carla Chan Unger is a researcher at RMIT's Business and Human Rights Centre. She is currently working on a research project that explores ways in which law enforcement can be enhanced to reduce modern slavery and other forms of serious labour exploitation in Australia. She is passionate about using research as a tool to advocate for progressive social change and has worked in research and policy roles for a number of universities, non-profit organisations, United Nations agencies and government across Australia, South Asia, and the Middle East.
