I completed my BSc (international) in Psychology at the University of Leeds in 2012. After this I was awarded a Partnership Research Scholarship from the University of Stirling (Sept 2012) working under the supervision of Dr S. Craig Roberts. My research focuses on olfaction as a form of communication in humans; what information can we get about a person from their odour? And is this affected by the use of artificial fragrances? I completed my PhD in December 2015, after which I worked on a project investigating how make-up affects self-perceptions alongside Professor S. Craig Roberts and Dr Anthony Little at Stirling University. I am currently working on the development of a 3D/4D facial image database with Dr Alex McIntyre and Dr Faye Skelton at Edinburgh Napier University.
