Catherine Briddick

Departmental Lecturer in Gender and International Human Rights and Refugee Law, University of Oxford

Catherine’s research focuses on gender, refugee protection, and discrimination and violence against women, issues she examines from an international legal and feminist perspective. Catherine is Principal Investigator of the Undoing Discriminatory Borders project.

Catherine’s work has been published in a number of peer-reviewed journals including International & Comparative Law Quarterly and Social & Legal Studies. Her monograph, Violence against Women and Regimes of Exception: Undoing Discrimination in British and European Migration Law is forthcoming with Oxford University Press.
