Catherine Doherty

I am an Australian now working at the University of Glasgow's School of Education. My work is informed by sociology of education and sociolinguistics. I have undertaken research into curriculum choice, educational strategies in mobile professional families, online internationalised education, the morality of extended compulsory education, and classroom discourse. I'm currently involved in a large project about teacher education pedagogies as part of the Scottish Attainment Challenge.
