Catherine Lynne Troisi

Associate Professor of Management, Policy, and Community Health and Epidemiology, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston

Catherine Troisi holds appointments in the Management, Policy, & Community Health department as well as the Epidemiology, Human Genetics, and Environmental Sciences department at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Public Health. She also is an executive board member of the American Public Health Association. She is the Co-Coordinator, Leadership Theory and Practice Certificate. She is active within the public health practice community, having served as the Director, Office of Public Health Practice, 2008 - 2010; Incident Commander for the Houston Department of Health and Human Services during the H1N1 response and also Incident Commander for the city of Houston Hurricane Katrina shelter. She also has served as the assistant director for Disease Prevention & Control, Houston Department of Health and Human Services and the bureau chief for HIV/STD Prevention, Houston Department of Health and Human Services, 2003-2004.
