Research Fellow in Women's Health at Monash University and Honorary Researcher, General Practice and Primary Health Care Academic Centre, The University of Melbourne

Cathy Watson is a women's health nurse practitioner who has experience working in urban and remote Australia. She is currently working at the Royal Women's Hospital in women's health, including in the vulval disorders clinic. She completed her PhD in 2013. She has a special interest in recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis, which was the focus of her thesis, and the subject of several of her peer-reviewed publications. She is passionate about research, and is involved in a project in the area of sexual health at Monash University. She remains an honorary researcher at University of Melbourne.
