Celina McEwen

Celina McEwen is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney’s Business School, and the Coordinator of the UTS Ageing Research Collaborative (UARC). She has an interdisciplinary background with training and experience in social sciences, adult education and information management. She draws on this set of theories, methods and processes to examine issues of inequality and social justice at work and in higher education. She has worked in universities in France and Australia and collaborates on research projects across disciplines, where she contributes her expertise on the sociology and social anthropology of professional practice and education. Her current research focuses on: the business and workforce model issues in the Australian aged care sector; and equity, diversity and inclusion practices at work and in higher education.
