Céline Barrédy is PhD in Finance and Family Business from the University of Bordeaux (France), and owns a diploma in PhD supervision from the University of Lille (France). She is currently Full Professor of Finance and Entrepreneurship at the University of Paris Nanterre (France). Her research interests include finance and governance in family business. She is particularly interested in the consequences on firm value of family relationship and of family – external stakeholder’s interactions. She has published research on outside directors’ role in family business board, the family business and the private equity capital, the role of the family law on family business value and governance. She has an international orientation through invited professorship in Europe and at Concordia University in Canada and she is part of international projects family business oriented like the STEP. She is editor-in-chief of the Revue de l’Enrepreneuriat, an English and French speaking academic journal.
