Chico is an interdisciplinary researcher working on computational social science. He uses tools from complex systems, data science and evolutionary biology to develop new computational approaches to questions in the social sciences, focusing on public opinion dynamics, culture change, and collective human behaviour in general. He is also interested in the laws that explain the evolution of information. Find him at the Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford.
When he's not doing science, you might find him writing for Huffpost Brasil or for The Conversation, or making YouTube videos at BláBláLogia, which is a part of Science Vlogs Brasil.
