Chinwe Juliana Iwu is a post-doctoral research fellow at the Department of Nursing and Midwifery, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
Chinwe Juliana Iwu-Jaja holds a PhD in Public Health and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
Chinwe previously practised as a community pharmacist in Nigeria where her key roles involved providing pharmaceutical care, health promotion and acting as the superintendent of the company.
She has also worked as a volunteer (pharmacy preceptor) for Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV/AIDS Services (SIDHAS) project which was managed by Howard University Pace Center, Nigeria.
Dr Iwu-Jaja’s interests include evidence synthesis, developing evidence products such as policy and issue briefs, access to vaccines and medicines, supply chain management and rational drug use, including antimicrobial resistance.
