Chloe has her Masters in Criminology from the University of Ottawa. Her thesis focused on analyzing regulations, legislation, and policies that were used to govern environmental harm in the Alberta Oil Sands.

She is currently a PhD candidate in the department of Geography, Geomatics, and Environment at the University of Guelph. Her dissertation focuses on the governance of food waste in Canada.
