Chrissie Ong is a research officer at the University of Queensland Diamantina Institute, researching on the mechanisms of skin inflammation and skin cancer. She obtained her PhD in 2022 from the University of Tasmania in the study of the Tasmanian devils and strategies to improve the devil immune response towards the transmissible devil facial tumour disease.
