Christian Razo, MSc, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington. In this role, she works with the Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health team on the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Project. Her research interests focus on women’s health and nutrition.
Before joining IHME, Razo was a researcher at the National Institute of Public Health in Mexico where she worked on the evaluation of community-based interventions to improve non-communicable diseases (such as type 2 diabetes and HIV).
Originally from Mexico, Razo received a doctoral degree in Population Nutrition Sciences from the School of Public Health of Mexico, a master’s degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Guadalajara and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Guanajuato.
