Christine P. Bartholomew has been a member of the School of Law’s faculty since 2006 and currently teaches Civil Procedure, Evidence, and Antitrust. She is a three-time winner of the law school's only teaching award, the Faculty Award.
Bartholomew writes extensively on issues involving evidence, complex civil litigation, and pedagogy. Her scholarship has appeared in top law journals including Virginia Law Review, Vanderbilt Law Review, Fordham Law Review, Duke Law Review, and Brooklyn Law Review.
Bartholomew received her B.A. from San Francisco State University in 1997 and her J.D. from the University at California, Davis, in 2000. Upon graduation, Bartholomew worked in the San Francisco Bay Area as an attorney, practicing in the areas of antitrust and consumer protection. During her career in legal practice, she served in executive and lead counsel positions for numerous national, multi-million dollar cases and was the managing attorney for the San Francisco branch office of a Washington, DC-based class action boutique law firm.
