Christopher Emmott

Research Postgraduate in Physics, Imperial College London

Christopher Emmott is a PhD student in the Department of Physics. He is funded by the Grantham Institute for Climate Change and Climate KIC (an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology).

Christopher studied physics as an undergraduate at the University of Edinburgh and Melbourne University before transferring to Imperial College, initially as a research assistant and subsequently as a PhD student.

His research focuses on understanding the potential for emerging solar energy technologies to help in reducing global carbon emissions and mitigating climate change.
