Christopher Tuggle

C.F. Curtiss Distinguished Professor of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Iowa State University

Dr. Tuggle holds a PhD in biochemistry and his background is molecular genetics. Currently he is very interested in the genetic and epigenetic control of immunity. He directs a group of fantastic researchers studying the structure and function of the pig genome, as well as developing a genetic line of immunodeficient pigs as a biomedical model for cancer and stem cell therapies.
