Associate Lecturer in Sociology, Goldsmiths, University of London

I have recently completed my doctoral thesis which examined how marketised education systems reshape social and cultural hierarchies in urban areas. It also examined issues of teacher labour in this deregulated market place and the shaping of student and parent identities through these structures. I currently work as an Associate Lecturer at Goldsmiths College while also running a research project on school exclusions for Communities Empowerment Network in Lambeth.
