PhD candidate in Urban Planning, The University of Melbourne

Claire is a landscape sociologist. Her PhD research overlaps the areas of strategic planning, critical urban theory and homelessness studies. Claire's research aims to contrast planning motivations informing compact city development with everyday experiences of the marginal body, as a means of illuminating the often-overlooked corporeality of spatial justice in planning rhetoric.
