Claire Gibson

After graduating with a triple major in Communication, Professional Writing (Journalism) and Public Relations from Canberra College of Advanced Education (now Canberra University) in 1985, I have pursued successful careers as a journalist, a Communications teacher and manager, a TAFE teacher, an author, and a librarian.

In 2018, together with a colleague who was an English teacher, I devised, implemented and coordinated a reading program based on reading for pleasure for Years 7-9 at the secondary College where I am currently employed as Librarian. This program is still operating and evolving.

I am currently studying a Master of Education (by research) at Edith Cowan University, Perth.
