Claire Robinson

Hailing from Wellington, New Zealand, Claire Robinson is Professor of Communication Design, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Massey University’s College of Creative Arts, and a member of Massey University’s Senior Leadership Team. She is also a graphic designer, political scientist, one of New Zealand’s foremost political commentators and a playwright. Her first book Promises Promises: 80 Years of Wooing New Zealand Voters, on the history of political advertising in New Zealand was published by Massey University Press in 2019.
