Claudia Stoicescu

Associate research scientist, University of Oxford

Dr Claudia Stoicescu is an associate researcher at Oxford University's Centre for Evidence Based Intervention, where she investigates structural determinants of HIV among women who use drugs and participatory methods for vulnerable populations. She is a Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation and Canadian Institutes of Health Research Scholar. Claudia also works as an independent consultant for governments, international agencies and civil society organisations, including Harm Reduction International, UNAIDS, Asian Network of People Who Use Drugs, Open Society Foundations and others. Claudia obtained her PhD and MSc in Social Intervention & Policy Evaluation from Oxford University (UK), and her BA Hons from York University (Canada). She currently divides her time between London and Jakarta.
