I'm interested in interactions between animals and the environment, particularly how energy flows through ecosystems, and how animal movements influence the flow of energy between and within ecosystems

To study this, My group uses geochemical techniques to infer aspects of animal behaviour in modern and ancient (mainly marine) ecosystems.

I am also very interested in biomineralisation and post mortem change in biomineralised tissues
