Postdoctoral Fellow in Virology and Immunology, University of Colorado Boulder

As a virologist and immunologist by training, I have specific expertise in dissecting virus-host interactions that have important implications for viral transmission and pathogenesis. My research goal is to understand how viruses in nature interact with their natural hosts, and how this relates to their potential to impact human health through zoonosis and subsequent human-to-human spread. My research to date has spanned several viruses including DNA viruses (herpesviruses, hepadnaviruses, papillomaviruses), retroviruses (HIV-1/SIV), and emerging or pre-emergent RNA viruses (coronaviruses, arteriviruses, dengue virus, influenza virus).
